Home Page :: Bob's Message BOB's MESSAGE Hi everyone, One of the toughest things I encounter as a television host is the obvious challenge of filming the catching of big fish in a manner that leaves no doubt in the viewer’s mind that they’re watching something totally authentic.  It’s equally challenging to combine this with my desire to educate our viewers. I can’t help but notice when I watch other fishing shows, listen to other speakers at sport shows or read articles recently published, how much of my research and teachings end up in other speakers’ seminars, articles or television programs as an integral part of their presentations.  I guess you could say it’s the result of being right more often than not in what I do - I call it leading by example. When you witness me or my guests succeeding on one of my shows or DVDs, I hope you feel as if you can enjoy the same success if you follow my lead. We are all in this to learn from one another, and for that I am proud of my contributions to fishing, regardless of who spreads the word. As part of my new role with A-Team Tackle, I will be soliciting new designs from people just like you - in fact, it could be you.  No man (or woman!) is an island, and certainly there is no monopoly on great ideas.  Great products come from problem-solving people everywhere.  Part of my job will be to sort through those concepts or prototypes in hopes of finding the next super lure (Do you believe in super lures?  If so, I'd like to hear from you.).  In doing so, I will most certainly get to know many of you, and in the process I will develop a team within A-Team Tackle. This team will be comprised of anglers just like yourself that have the skills and the desire to make this sport more than just a pastime. For those interested in taking that next step, please pay attention.  I will be asking for some personal background information as a starting point. Please provide me with the necessary contact information such as your full name, address, phone number and email address, and some history regarding your past and or current involvement in the sport - including any involvement with other companies in the industry. The devil is in the details, as it’s been said. The concept is simple, and within the framework allowed me, I will be building the “A-Team” from the ground up.  You will be fairly compensated for the effort and innovation you contribute. However, please be aware that, as I told Dee, this will have to be done on my schedule.  My primary interest yesterday, today and tomorrow is to shoot and produce the finest television shows and instructional DVDs in the industry today for Simply Fishing Inc.
